Introduction
Bandhavgarh national park lies in eastern part of Madhya Pradesh. It is part of Bandhavgarh tiger reserve which is popular for high tiger density. Its major area lies in Umaria district, along with some part in Katni district. It is a tiger safari hotspot due to high tiger density. Wildlife photographers must include this national park in their tour plan to enrich the travel experience. Apart from a jungle safari destination, Bandhavgarh forest have more than 2000 years old history in the form of rock-shelters, ancient scripts carved on cave walls, rock-cut statues and structures like Bandhavdheesh temple, treasury house, ruins of Moti Mahal at Bandhavgarh fort site.
